The question of testing for covid-19, the availability of test kits, Trump’s promises that everyone can be tested, and promises that those tests will be free to everyone…is at the heart of the nation’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.And when Congress passed two laws that said patients would not have to pay for coronavirus tests, that question, at least, seemed to be put at rest.But apparently that isn’t quite true – apparently not all tests are – or will be – free.
