Wondering if you guys watch the TV show, “Bull,” based on a jury analyst who figures out which potential jury members would be more favorable to his firm’s clients, and which would be most unfavorable.

They figure this out with a series of questions to potential members of the jury panel, and if it looks like they would not be friendly, or if they have some sort of conflict of interest, the attorney uses a preemptory challenge and those members are dismissed.

Well, the Senate is holding a trial on the impeachment of former President Donald Trump on charges of inciting an insurrection that resulted in a mob attack on Congress. No, there are no standards for jury selection in this case. Anybody who’s a senator gets to sit in judgement.

But what if a senator actually participated in the insurrection, or at least helped make it possible? Should that senator be on that jury?

Take a listen to “The Tainted Senate Jury”, from Not Fake News.biz.
