Today, I want to talk about guns and needless, tragic deaths. Why is it that we as a nation must continually suffer through more gun violence?

Why is it that when mass shootings occur, regardless of whether it’s little school children, people praying in church, going to a concert, or even just to the spa or the grocery store that nothing ever happens?

The anti-gun people clamor for action and raise money for their campaigns. The pro-gun people say don’t talk about it now, emotions are too high, and restrictions are unconstitutional.

The politicians offer condolences, claim their hearts are broken with sadness, say their thoughts and prayers are with the victims.

But nothing happens.

The House of Representatives has passed legislation that would help, strengthening background checks to keep guns away from dangerous people, and closing loopholes. But the Senate, where Republicans still have enormous power even though they no longer have the majority, is still the roadblock.

Meanwhile, nothing happens, and it won’t until the next tragedy occurs. And then, we’ll go through all of this all over again.

In this commentary from Not Fake News.biz, we take a look at all of this. So,
here’s “Shootings: Will Light Ever Shine Through the Darkness?”. Take a listen. From Not Fake News.biz.
