Finally, we are getting rid of Donald J. Trump
But as Chris Waldron of Not Fake News points out in a blog published today, our nation is still “under siege” and that’s not going to dissipate any time soon as even as they were leaving Washington last week, rioters and insurrectionists were planning a return.
What could lie ahead is chilling to think of, especially with the Biden-Harris inauguration coming in just a few days and then the impeachment trial set to begin.
On that score, I’ve got some thoughts about how the walls are closing in on Trump. Impeached by the House of Representatives, even with 10 Republicans voting with all of the Democrats, Trump’s life seems to be falling apart.
The man who told us four years ago that we’d get tired of so much winning seems about to lose everything.
